SS24 Charity fashion show at 78 Derngate

At Voni Blu, we believe in the power of combining fashion with a good cause. On Monday 8th April, we hosted a remarkable Charity Fashion Show, showcasing the SS24 collection, at the elegant 78 Derngate. The evening was a resounding success, bringing together fashion enthusiasts, local businesses, and charitable hearts to support Cynthia Spencer Hospice and 78 Derngate. The ambience was enhanced by the exceptional hair styling from Finn & Co, flawless makeup by Addictedtoface, and stunning floral arrangements by KS Flowers. With over 72 guests and an array of incredible prizes, the evening raised over £1200 in support of Cynthia Spencer Hospice and 78 Derngate.

The SS24 Collection:
Our Charity Fashion Show featured the stunning SS24 collection, which showcased an array of renowned brands like Monari, Jane Lushka, Naya, and My Soul. Jane Lushka collection exuded elegance and sophistication, with tailored silhouettes and luxurious fabrics that epitomised timeless chic. Naya brought a contemporary twist to classic designs, incorporating playful patterns and versatile pieces that catered to the modern woman's lifestyle. Meanwhile, My Soul added a touch of urban edge to the collection, with edgy designs and bold prints.

Additionally, we introduced captivating colours from newer labels to Voni Blu such as Blueberry, Milano, Rundholz, and Sanctemuerte. Blueberry was wowed with its vibrant colours and modern casual wear. Milano infused Italian sophistication with impeccable craftsmanship. Rundholz pushed boundaries with avant-garde colours, and innovative textures, appealing to the fashion-forward crowd. Meanwhile, Sanctemuerte added a touch of mystique with sophisticated and romantic designs.

What set the SS24 collection apart was its carefully curated selection of pieces that balanced tradition and innovation. The established brands brought a sense of familiarity and reliability to the collection, offering timeless pieces that have stood the test of time. On the other hand, the emerging labels injected a sense of excitement and unpredictability, introducing fresh designs and creative interpretations that pushed the boundaries of fashion.

The dedication and hard work of our models cannot go unnoticed. A special thank you goes to Lorraine Osbourne, Varinder Savage, Ella Savage, Haley Kennedy, Donna Walker, and Lesley Fenlon Smith for their elegant presence on the runway. Their grace and poise added another layer of charm to the evening.
This event would not have been possible without the invaluable support of various individuals and local businesses. We express our deepest gratitude to Jemma, Lucy, Tia and the talented photography and videography students from Northampton University for capturing the essence of the fashion show.  We extend our thanks to Amanda Lamming, Reb McPhee, Holly McPhee, and Ruth Warner, for their tireless efforts backstage, keeping everything running smoothly. Thank you my most missed No.2 Anjali and my current assistant Ati. We also acknowledge the supportive local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes. Their contributions made a significant impact on the success of fundraising for Cynthia Spencer Hospice and 78 Derngate.

We are immensely proud of what we achieved together and grateful to everyone who played a part in making it a resounding success. We look forward to seeing you all at our future events.
